Every winter and spring, roads take a beating from rain, frost and traffic — and your tyres definitely notice!
🔹 An estimated 1.9 million potholes were recorded in the UK in recent years.
🔹 UK drivers lose an average of £430–£860 per incident in vehicle damage caused by potholes (tyres, wheels, suspension… ouch!).
🔹 Councils receive thousands of reports each year, but many potholes still go unrecorded.
👉 That’s where you can help.
🗣️ Councils need our eyes on the road!
Local authorities rely on residents to spot and report potholes.

📣 Got a gnarly pothole near you? Report it to @mybcpcouncil or @hampshire_county_council .
Your council thanks you. Your car thanks you. And one day your tyres might even thank you too. 😂

💡 Tip: Take a photo, share the location, and submit it through the council link — it really makes a difference.
